Hi friends of SANA we are happy to report you that the project is doing well because of your prayers and love for the children that you have shown to them.It was last month on 20th /July/2008 that we received our first visitors from the west who decided come and give a hand to the project of the children in Africa.The visitors were welcomed with alot of happiness,songs were sung, traditional dances and reciting of HIV/AIDS poems and thereafter there was interactions between the children and the visitors.The visitors promised to stand with us in the course of helping the orphans in any way possible to see to it that the rejected,orphaned and other vulnerable ones are given a better living.

What is SANA?
Save The Needy Africa (SANA) is an indigenous non governmental organization and non political organization working to improve on the lives of orphans and other vulnerable groups in Uganda.

SANA’s Approach.
SANA believes that in order to reach out to orphans and needy children an other vulnerable groups, a holistic approach must be taken to address their problems/needs,
SANA targets children, their households and their communities.

WHO WE TARGET?

We target most needy orphans and other vulnerable children .SANA’ five year goal is to reach 2000 and their care takers with interventions to reduce their vulnerability.

HOW DO WE WORK?
SANA Works through community based groups (cbgs).these cbgs select their own members from the community .Each cbg has between 15_30 members and these meet once in a week and they are supervised by SANA field officers.

WHERE DOES SANA WORK?
SANA in eastern region .it is operation in one district comprising of counties. We have field offices in Budondo, Buyengo, and butagaya with the head office in JINJA town plot no. ________________road.
